INVENTORY HIGHLIGHTS

A selection of reading material sits by the violin. Issues of The Strand,Times, Pall Mall Magazine as well as the London News were well known to Mr. Holmes.
Although difficult to find, mint copies still occasionally turn up at flea markets. Devoted collectors of Sherlockian material are particularly interested in issues of The Strand which contain Doyle's stories.

  • VIOLIN "He [Holmes] had purchases his own
Stradivarius, which was worth at least 500
    guineas" (CARD)
  • NEWSPAPERS The agony column was always
of interest to Holmes. "You know that I miss
    nothing here." (3GAR)
